What about patients who cannot afford this kind of treatment?

This is an important point that no one should miss during a professional life. We are very glad to have a wealthy and easy life but some people are excluded and we need to help them.
I’m proud to be involved in a humanitaran project which started in 2006 which is called RP4 Bagdahd and which is driven by Médecins sans Frontières. It is done to help civilian people badly injured in Iraq. This program is very successful and changed the life of many adults and kids in Iraq. As the President of a non-profit organization in France, I also have a big project to help fully edentulous persons in Middle East. A lot of people have not enough money to be treated and they just get teeth extracted. Then they end with full upper and lower dentures. Usually the upper denture is well supported in the mouth, but the lower denture never stays well and people become depressed, sad and are unable to chew properly. The implant techniques allow getting a quite good stabilization of a lower denture only using 2 implants with 2 attachment balls. But the technology is so sharp that we need 16 different pieces to do that! I reduced this number to 2 pieces per implant. Then we can go back to a possible humanitarian project based on a reasonable investment. I plan to give back a smile to thousands of persons who will be treated in the frame of this project. This project is called the One-million smiles project.
